Delivery Truck Driver - Local

We are currently looking for a delivery driver to work out of our Urbandale location making local deliveries throughout the area. Position will require 6+ months of experience driving a standard 24’ box truck. 

Monday to Friday

6am to 4pm

$24 per hour plus overtime

Job Requirements:

• Please have either a CDL license or a Class D license with #2 endorsement
• Knowledge of ELD’s (electronic logging device) is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Heavy lifting while unloading, will unload via forklift, pallet jack, or stand bundles of insulation on end and roll them off truck
• All of our trucks do have a lift gate
• Start time as early as 6:00 AM depending on customer needs and delivery schedule
• 40-50 hours per week
• 9-10 hour days are not uncommon
• Positive attitude and basic problem solving skills a must, will be face to face dealing with customers

Truck Driver requirements:

• Current CDL License or Class D license with #2 endorsement
• At least 6+ months of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years
• Up to date DOT Medical Card
• DOT screening will include pre-employment Drug screen, MVR, and Criminal Background checks
