Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Controller to join our team in the North Hills (Raleigh) Area!
Pay based on experience
Job Responsibilities
As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Controller, you will:
Accounting and Financial Management

Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and general ledger.

Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.

Prepare financial statements and other financial reports.
Payroll Management
-
Process and oversee payroll for all employees, including certified payroll.

Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Manage reporting and data submission in LCP Tracker and other relevant platforms.
Leadership and Collaboration

Collaborate with the ownership, finance, and operations teams to streamline financial processes.

Gradually assume tasks from the owner, becoming the primary point of contact for all financial matters.
Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:
-
Minimum of 5-7 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.

Proficiency in QuickBooks, certified payroll, and LCP Tracker.
-
Experience in the staffing industry or similar is a plus.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting software.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
