CDL A Yard Switcher – Night Shift | $24.50/Hour
We are hiring experienced CDL A Yard Switchers in Greer, SC. This is a local, home-daily position moving trailers and automotive freight between nearby yards and distribution facilities.
Pay & Schedule
- $24.50 per hour
- Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Rotating four-day workweeks:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Sunday
- Week 2: Monday–Thursday
- Week 3: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
- Full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity
- Immediate openings available
Responsibilities
- Move and spot trailers safely throughout the yard
- Transport trailers between local yards and distribution facilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain safe and efficient yard operations
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Previous yard switcher, hostler, or yard jockey experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work the full rotating night schedule
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Able to pass all required pre-employment screenings
