Driving either stake beds or flatbed vehicles - automatic. Drivers will be hauling pipe and

We are currently looking for CDLB Driver in  the Groveport, OH area.
Driving either stake beds or flatbed vehicles - automatic. Drivers will be hauling pipe and
other waterwork materials as needed. Delivery distances vary from locally to a few hours away depending on customer need. No overnight travel is required. 75% of the job will be driving andthe other 25% will be helping out in the yard.  Yardwork entails helping load and unload customers and LTL deliveries to our site. Putting away andsorting material. Yard work is outdoors.

Monday to Friday
7AM-4:30PM
$22 an hour plus overtime

Must haves:
Physical capabilities to handle moving material around the yard manually up to 50pounds.
Fork-lift certifi ed (1 year)
Able to operate smart phone applications

All drivers must hold the required state-issued self-certifi cation designation of non-exceptedinterstate and provide proof. All drivers must hold at a minimum a valid Class B CommercialDriver’s License.
Job Functions:
Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor.
Validate directions.
Unload or assist in unloading material as required.
Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits.
Ensure delivery of ticket with material and obtain customer signature.
Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day.
Pick up customer returns and validate that product matches request for credit.
Pick up local-pickup purchase orders.
Secure and return packing list(s).
Verify all material has been unloaded and placed at the delivery site.
Verify the customers signature on the delivery ticket.
Print name next to signature if necessary.
Review delivered orders with the supervisor for completion, accuracy, and format.
Return all delivery ticket copies to warehouse and verify that none are missing.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
Fuel the truck as necessary.
Report any vehicle problems, moving violations, accidents, and defects to the supervisorCompliance with company uniform policy.
Assist in warehouse as necessary.
