Fabrication Technician

We are looking for a qualified and reliable 1st Shift Non-Welding Fabrication Technician in the Columbus, OH area!

Experience with Fabrication of Pipes is needed!!!

This is a 6 month assignment and may turn into full-time job opportunity. 

Welding experience is a big plus!!!!

Shift:  Mon-Fri 6am to 3-4pm
Pay Rate: $22/hr. with OT over 40 hours(as needed)

Job Description:

• You will cut and groove pipe, thread and make-on fittings, stage materials for shipment, and ensure quality and consistency of work. 

• You will also keep the fabrication areas organized, organize pallets and stack them in a safe manner, sweep work areas daily, operate machinery, and communicate fabrication concerns to a supervisor.

• You will be responsible for assisting the welders as required.

• You must be able to work overtime as needed. This job requires using both manual and power tools.

Fabrication Technician requirements:

• At least 1-5 year of fabrication experience
• Possess good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Demonstrate superior math skills, ability to calculate quantities of product on hand.
• Knowledge of safe work practices required in the pipe yard.
• Operation of machinery for the use of cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations and Client Safety Policies will train on site.
• Ability to remain results-focused in the fast-paced customer service environment.
•  You must have a pair of Steel Toed Boots prior to your start date
