Fabrication Technician

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Fabrication Technician in the Glendale Heights, IL area. 

Schedule: Monday through Friday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, with potential overtime until 12am.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cut and groove pipe, thread and make-on fittings, weld pipes per customer designs,
• Stage materials for shipment
• Assist with basic welding as needed
• Ensure quality and consistency of work
• You must be able to work overtime as needed
• Using both manual and power tools

 
Fabrication Technician requirements:

• At least 1 year of fabrication experience or strong interest in the field
• Working knowledge of properties and characteristics of metals in order to cut, weld, and form pipe welds per customer design
• Ability to follow and adhere to strict safety guidelines
