Hiring Solar Service Account Manager

Pay
$85,000 – $100,000+
Primary Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
-
Grow the service department through marketing and new customer recruitment.

Identify, estimate, and close service project opportunities.

Prepare proposals and review service contracts.
-
Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Project & Service Management
-
Order materials and schedule service projects.
-
Coordinate and assign work to service technicians.
-
Manage client relationships, warranty work, and account follow-up.
-
Track job costs, production, and profitability.
-
Monitor and approve work orders and timecards.
-
Ensure quoted pricing aligns with actual costs.
Quality & Performance

Supervise service technicians to ensure high-quality work.
-
Maintain company standards for safety, workmanship, and professionalism.

Work with management to maintain competitive labor rates and material margins.
Training & Leadership
-
Assist in developing and leading training programs (safety, customer service, technical skills).

Train technicians on company policies and procedures.

Lead meetings and encourage continuing education.
-
Promote customer satisfaction, employee development, safety, and profitability.
Qualifications
-
Experience as a service technician.
-
Strong knowledge of construction practices and project management.
-
Familiar with safety standards and quality control.
-
Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
-
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
-
Experience with Viewpoint or similar accounting software preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, drive, use a computer (including 10-key), lift up to 30 lbs., and maintain near and distance vision.
