Class A Truck Driver – Manual Transmission (Temporary to Permanent Opportunity)

Location: Hillsboro, OR
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM (30-min unpaid lunch)
Pay: $27-$28 HR
Type: Temporary, with potential to become full-time

What You'll Be Doing:

• Driving a manual Class A truck with a 48-foot trailer

• Delivering waterworks supplies like pipes, valves, and hydrants to construction sites

• Rarely loading/unloading – job site contractors usually handle that (you may occasionally use a sit-down forklift)

• Coordinating drop-offs with site contacts (you’ll have names, addresses, and numbers)

What You Need:

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of Class A driving experience

• Comfortable with manual transmission

• Able to operate or learn a sit-down forklift (training can be provided)

• 21 years or older

• Must meet DOT driving requirements and hold a non-excepted interstate self-certification

Other Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver and verify materials on time

• Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day

• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, fuel truck, and report any issues

• Assist in the warehouse if needed

• Follow all safety and company policies

• Work overtime when required
