Payroll Processor
Full-Time | Primarily Remote After Training
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented person to join our Payroll team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with computers, numbers, and detailed information and wants to learn the payroll and staffing business.
Payroll experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person. We are more interested in finding someone who is smart, dependable, learns quickly, and takes pride in doing things accurately.
What You’ll Do
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees
- Enter new employee information and maintain employee records
- Process employee placements, terminations, pay changes, and other payroll updates
- Review time and payroll information for accuracy
- Maintain required employee documentation
- Assist with prevailing wage reporting
- Maintain information in LCP Tracker
- Work with Avionté and Paychex to process payroll and maintain employee information
- Answer employee questions and help resolve payroll issues
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with other payroll-related tasks
- Work with the Payroll and Operations teams to meet weekly payroll deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational skills
- Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets
- Dependable and able to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Someone who is motivated to learn and grow
- Payroll, staffing, Avionté, Paychex, or prevailing wage experience is helpful, but not required

We will provide training on our payroll systems and processes, including Avionté, Paychex, prevailing wage reporting, and LCP Tracker.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position, including training. You will work closely with our Payroll team and receive hands-on training and support as you learn our systems and processes.
Because this position is remote, the ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to stay focused and productive without direct supervision. We communicate regularly through phone, email, Zoom, and chat, so being comfortable communicating and asking questions is important.
We are looking for someone who wants to build a career with our company, not simply a work-from-home job.
Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 depending on qualifications and experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
