Job Description

We are currently seeking an In-Warehouse Crane Operator for a metal manufacturing plant located in the Nashville, TN area.
This is a second-shift position, with working hours from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the potential for overtime.

The pay rate for this role is $20.60 per hour. This is a temporary-to-permanent full-time position that offers excellent benefits upon permanent placement.

As an In-Warehouse Crane Operator, your essential functions will include:

* Moving inventory and equipment within the warehouse.
* Filling customer orders by retrieving materials from racks.
* Unloading incoming materials and loading trucks and customer vehicles.
* Assisting with the general upkeep and organization of the warehouse.
* Receiving and placing or returning items to designated stock inventory locations.
* Pulling and assembling orders based on work or shipping orders and other related documentation.
* Properly tagging materials for identification and completing all necessary paperwork.
* Transporting materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other specified locations using forklifts, side loaders, or cranes.
* Conducting spot checks on inventory and performing daily or ad hoc checks to ensure proper tagging of materials, as instructed.
* Reporting any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor for guidance.

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Proven experience in warehouse operations and material handling, specifically with forklifts and cranes.
* Ability to read and understand written instructions.
* Basic measurement skills, including the ability to convert decimals and fractions as needed.
* Willingness and ability to obtain the necessary certifications to operate all required motorized material handling and rigging equipment.
