Pay Rate: $20/hour
Overtime: After 8 hours

Available Shifts:

• Shift 1: Sunday–Tuesday, every other Wednesday | 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM

• Shift 2: Thursday–Saturday, every other Wednesday | 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM

Job Summary

The Yard Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Operations and our customer by ensuring accurate, on-time trailer positioning, temperature monitoring, detailed trailer inventory, and control of inbound/outbound yard traffic.

This position works closely with Yard Clerks and the customer’s warehouse team to gather, record, and communicate critical information accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of all BRL trailers within the yard.

• Conduct routine temperature checks on all pre-loaded and storage trailers.

• Communicate and coordinate with the customer on load updates, delays, trailer needs, breakdowns, and production or holiday schedules.

• Prepare and deliver timely pass-down notes, progress reports, KPIs, and yard status updates.

• Physically inspect trailers for cleanliness and cargo as required.

• Clean trailers when necessary to maintain cleanliness standards.

• Perform daily yard audits to ensure coordination, organization, and safety.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 6 months of heavy clerical/data entry and warehouse experience (preferably in logistics).

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; extensive walking required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry systems.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multi-task and adapt within a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Strong problem-solving and resourcefulness.

• Ability to physically climb in and out of trailers for inspections and cleaning.

• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
